Tamil New Year, Vishu and Sri Rama Navami
Tamil New year and Vishu was celebrated with Pooja , Bhajans and Annadhanam on April 14th , 2016. Sri Rama Navami the Janmadinam of Sri Rama was celebrated in the evening of April 15th, 2016 by chanting of the Divya Rama Nama followed by Bhajans by Children of Eshwara Peetam
It is our practice in Eshwara Peetam to take a festival from our Sanathana Dharma and celebrate it as our annual celebrations. Accordingly our Guruji adviced us to celebrate Maha Sivarathri this year.
It was a two day celebration. First day the programme was conducted in G.K.Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya , Ambattur and the second day it was at Satsangam Hall , Ambattur.
December 21st Vaikunta Ekadasi
Special Poojas were offered to Sriman Narayana on Vaikunta Ekadasi day.Bhagavan Nama was chanted in the evening.
November 10th Deepavali
Deepavali the festival of lights was celebrated amidst bhajans , crackers
and pooja in Eshwara Peetam.
November 12th - 18th Skandha Shasti Vratham
All the six Kavachams of Lord Murugan was chanted in the evening on
all days. A grand feast was offered to the lord on 17/11/15 (Soora
Samharam Day) and prasadam was distributed among devotees.
November 25th Karthikai Deepam
Lamps were lit in Eshwara Peetam and Lord Arunachaleshwara was
worshipped in his Jyothi Swaroopa. Chanting of “Annamalaiyanukku
Hara Haro Hara Hara”.filled the entire place making it very divine.
Navarathri October 13 to 22 – Durga Pooja
Navarathri the nine auspicious days of Sakthi worship was celebrated
in a very devote manner. Sri Lalitha Sahasra Namam was chanted in
the evening on all days. A special pooja was performed on 16/10/15
and devotees were given prasadam.
Sep 17 : Vinayaga Chathurthi : GaneshChaturthi, was observed by
offering the Lord’s favourite “Kozhukattai”, fruits and other offerings.
Swamiji inaugurated the poojas at various pandhals in the city.
August 3 : Aadi Perukku : Seeds were sown and Saplings were planted
for Aadi Perukku and Offerings were given to River Kavery
August 9 : Koottu Prarthanai : Around 40 Volunteers took part in the
Prarthanai at Sri Manonmani Amman Udanurai Sri Thiruvathishwarar temple
at Kadambadi Village, Thirukazhukundram. It is a 2000 year old temple being
rebuilt by the local devotees.
August 10 : Lalitha Sahasranamam parayanam was done by Mahila Mandali
in connection with the Satha Kodi Lalitha Sahasranamam Parayanam to be
performed on 27/09/2015 at G.K.Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya.
August 19 : Rama Nama Japamwas done in the evening between 6.30 and
7.30 PM by Smt.Bala Bhuvaneswari and other followers of Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
August 23 : Thirunelveli Thiruvasaga Mutrodhal : Swamiji along with
Diwakar Ayya and Adiyaars took part in the Thiruvaasaga Mutrodhal by Thiruvasaga
Sitthar Siva Damodharan Ayya at Nellai Appar Temple in Tirunelvi.
August 28 : Onam and Varalakshmi Vratham : Onam was celebrated with
usual “Onam Sadhya” to Bhagavathy andVaralakshmi Vratham was worshipped
at Swamijis residence in Ramapuram.
Swamiji returned after a 10 day pilgrimage to Lord Shiva’s holy abode
Amarnath in Kashmir on July 10th 2015. He also had the Darshan of Mata
Vaishno Devi. Swamiji was accompanied by Shri Babu Maharaj.

on the occasion of Saint Manickavasagar Guru Pooja and International Yoga Day.
Thiruvasagam was sung by all the devotees. Swamiji adviced everyone to live a

June 27th : Swamiji’s Amarnath Yathra
Our Swamji has gone on a pilgrimage to the Holy Amarnath temple in Kashmir
on 27th June. He was given a grand sendoff at the Chennai Central Railway
Station by all the voulunteers and devotees. Swamiji wrote and released a
writeup by name “Adiyen Thediya Amara Nathan” on the occasion. Poojas ,
Bhajans and Annadhanam was done in the morning session
June 28th : Thiruvaasaga Thiruvizha
Eshwara Peedam took active part in the “Thiruvasaga Thiruvizha” conducted
by Sivalogam and Iyyapanthaangal Adiyargal on 28th June. It was a day long
celebration of Thiruvasagam and Sri Manickavasagar.Siva Sri Damodharan Ayya,
Pazhani Patti Rajammaal Shankaran and thousands of Sivan Adiyaars took part
in the Celebrations.

This day is remembered as a day when a) Veda Vyasa and Sri Ganesha started writing
Mahabharatha, b) Ganga devi descended to earth, c) Lord Krishna presented Pandavas with the
Akshaya Pathra and d) Sudhama came to meet Sri Krishna. Eshwara Peetam celebrated this day
with prayers to Sri Dakshinamoorthi for endless knowledge and to Mata Annapoorneshwari for
food for all.
Vishu celebrations began with ‘Vishu Kani’ followed by Poojas and Annadhanam. Devotees
were given ‘Vishu Kaineetam’. In the evening there was chanting of ‘Naaraayaneeyam’
by devotees as it was Ekadasi Day.
Special poojas in Eshwaraalayam were performed on the occasion of Panguni Uthram as it
signifies the marriage day of Parvati - Parameswara, Murugan - Deivanai, and Aandaal - Rangamannar.
It is also considered as the Jayanthi of Sri Ayyappan.
The recitation of Skandha Shasti Kavacham (36 times) was done at the residence of Smt. Vaidehi
on 12/03/15 in Thirumullaivoyal. Sri Jagan and Sri Uma Mahesh of Eshwara Peetam took part in the same. The
recitation started at 10 AM and was over by 4 PM. Prasadam was distributed to all the participants
The birth anniversary of our beloved Guruji Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamigal was celebrated on the
10th of March 2015 (Tuesday). The day began with the Peetarohanam of Swamiji. Our Swamiji
was taken to the Peetam by Siva Thiru Divakar Iyya and anointed the first ‘Peetadhipathi’. Swamiji
gave a small and sweet ‘Anugraha Bhashanam’. In the evening the programme at Sathsangam began miestenapteekki.com
with the recitation of Loka Marga Geetham. Sri Sadhguru Iyya, Pazhani Patti and Divakar Iyya
gave some soul rising speeches. Swamiji gave his Anugraha Bhashanam after that. This was followed by
Namasankeerthanam by Siva Sri Divakar Iyya and Volunteers of Eshwara Peetam. The release of
‘Siva Namamaamrutham’, the audio CD of the songs written by our Swamiji and Sung
by Siva Sri Solar Sai was done towards the end. Siva Thiruvadichilamban gave a dance recital
for one of the songs from the CD. Mangala Aarathi was performed towards the end.
Dhundhubi the monthly newsletter of Eshwara Peetam started its journey from 01/03/2015. The main objective of the newsletter is to become a bridge between the Peetam and its followers.
This newsletter will keep you informed about the religious and social activities of the Peetam and will also carry the enlightening and enriching messages of our beloved Swamiji to your door steps. We will be happy if we start getting your feedback on this new effort.

The annual Celebrations of Eshwara Peetam - "Eshwara Jayanthi" was celebrated on 01/02/2015 at
G.K.Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Ambattur in a very grand manner.
The celebrations included Ganapathi Homam, Subramania Swami Homam followed by recitation of Skanda
Shashti Kavacham 36 times by more than 600 devotees.Around 600 devotees sat around 36 Kalashams
and recited the Kavacham.The main kalasha was filled with Pachamrutham specially prepared under the
guidance of our Swamiji and placed in a Shadakshara Kolam. After the recitation the Kalasham was taken
in procession amidst singing of Bhajans in praise of Lord Muruga and chanting of "Hara Haro Hara".
Later Abhishekam was performed for Bala Subramania Swamy followed by dance recital for Siva Puranam
by Siva Thiruvadi Chilamban Founder ,Babanjali Temple of Arts.
Smt. Tamizhselvi, who conductsd Thirumurai classes in Eshwara Peetam, gave discourse on Lord Muruga
which was followed by a short speech by Sadhguru Iyya a follwer of Sri Pamban Swamigal.
In the evening Pradosha Pooja was performed for Sri Vilvadinathar accompanied by Singing of Thevaram and
Thiruvasagam by Siva Sri Divakar Ayya of Sivalogam Sivanadiyaargal Thirukoottam.
The main source of Joy and happiness to the whole event was Palani Patti Rajammaal Shankaran, who
came all the way from Palani to be with us for the whole day and blessed us with her divine presence.
Prasadam was distributed at regular intervals and the celebrations ended with a Mangala Aarati.

Thirumurai classes were started in Sri Bala Vinayagar Kovil , Kodambakkam on 13/11/2014 by Eshwara Peetam. Smt. Sabitha Krishnamoorthy of the temple had called our Peetam office and had asked for classes to be taken at the temple premises. Accordingly Siva Smt.Revathy Krishnamoorthy was requested and classes began in the temple.
It began with an introduction about Eshwara Peetam followed by Smt.Revathy Krishnamoorthy's discourse on Naalvar's.
Our Swamiji joined the classes towards the end and gave his Anugraha Bhashanam.
The classes concluded with prasadham distribution.
Classes will be conducted every thusrday from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM
Vaan Kalandha Manickavasagar the dance drama by Babanjali Temple of Arts and Sivalogam
Sivanadiyaargal Thirukkoottam was performed on 18/10/2014 at Raja Annamalai Mandram, Broadway, Chennai.
Devotion is a very important aspect in life, it is to be combined with dedication. This was the main theme
of the dance drama where Children 5yrs to 15 yrs, and experienced dancers of Babanjali along with Thiruvadi
Chilamban Shri Raaj Paresh Baba made such a tremendous impact on the audience that the entire
auditorium was silent during the whole 2 hour performance
It was like seeing the actual life of Manikkavasagar happening in front of your eyes. The scene especially
where Manikkavasagar merged into Shiva was the best and gathered resounding applause The lighting
was very very apt and was absolutely perfect in the scene where the horses turned into foxes
Each of the Thiruvasagam couplets was so well tuned in apt ragas.
The great celebration was showcased after Manikkavasagar leaves behind his work which is of much
more value than a pearl was as if it was happening in reality. The audience were encapsulated.
The apt backdrops, the fantastic colourful costumes, melodious music, all added to this Bharathanatyam
master production. The message of Thiruvasagam was well conveyed.
Our Swamiji, Siva Sri Damodharan Ayya, Palani Patti Rajammaal Shankaran , BJP Leader L.Ganeshan
were present during the drama.Media and Publicity for the event was organized by Thiru Promoters , Chennai.
The beginning of Thirumurai and Samskritham classes in Eshwara Peetam was
with a bang. Siva Sri Divakar Ayya, Smt. Tamizhselvi Amma , Smt. Sasi Kala, espanolviagra.net
(both Thirumurai Teachers) and Manga Matha (Samskritham Teacher) took
part and blessed the students.
The pooja began with a small introductory speech by Swamiji followed by a
small and beautiful speech on Eshwara Peetam and the importance of both
Tamizh and Samskritham by Siva Divakar Ayya.
As it was the first day of the class Smt.Tamizhselvi spoke about the Panniru
Thirumurai its importance, history etc. Smt. Manga Matha taught the
students to speak and write a few letters in Samskritham.
As it was a friday the pooja was followed by the Parayanam of
Sri Lalitha Sahasra Namam.
It was decided that the classes will be taken every sunday between
10.00 AM and 12.00 Noon
